A 6 week intensive practical course teaching you the main exercises we do in Functional Training and how to effectively cue, scale and progress them. This includes a shadowing programme to help develop you further in class management, coaching, scaling, cueing and spotting faults.
Learn how to breakdown and coach complex movements in classes. Learn how to create effective lesson plans for a class based environment and different levels of athletes.
Access to an online course platform where you'll work through theory, how to coach movements, and assignments and quizzes to test your knowledge.
Individual coaching skills on how to effectively lead a group class with in person coaching, development & shadowing classes. 2 sessions each week with your mentor, to cover the theory you've learned as well as practical knowledge.
A shadowing programme to help develop you further in class management, coaching, scaling, cueing and spotting faults. Start with shadowing your mentor and then going over what you've learned. When you're ready, you'll start leading parts of the classes in your shadowing, until you progress to leading a full class. You'll get feedback from your mentor to implement every step of the way.
